Dare 2 Be Different International (www.d2bdifferent.com) was founded in June 2008, by Youth Advocate, Small Business Owner, Philanthropist, Author, Internet Professional and Ordained Minister, Khrystus Wallace (26) and three other passionate youths in the persons of Lemercius Wallace (23) – www.djmerci.com, Kerese Dias (24) – www.kayscorp.com and Joy Codrington (22) – www.tagdownskn.com
Wallace has a heart for youth and has been investing his time, money and other resources into their development since starting being a youth president from 13 years. He is also adamant in getting young people to be self sufficient and be small business owners like himself, who has NEVER worked for anyone. He has empowered his three founding team members to also be small business owners and provide for themselves and family.
Khrystus Wallace recently added 8 new team members which now comprise of some older adults to help carry his BIG VISION for the Caribbean and the world forward. Meet them on www.d2bdifferent.com and click TEAM.
Wallace, in leading his team to make one of the BIGGEST IMPACTS in St. Kitts – Nevis, across the region and the world using on the ground events and using the technology, has always contended that organizations need to show donors that they are doing a great work first and are able to support themselves up to a certain point before approaching them for funding.
Wallace has done just that. His small four (4) member team has never asked government or businesses in St. Kitts – Nevis or across the world for help, but pooled a portion of their profits together to carry out ALL their many events over the last 4 years. (2008 – 2012)
As Dare 2 Be Different International’s name grows, as it leads the way AS THE MOST ACTIVE, UP-TO-DATE, CREATIVE, TECHNOLOGICAL YOUTH GROUP in St. Kitts – Nevis and across the region, the demand and request to participate, plan programs and events for schools, other youth groups and provide training continues to arise and the ministry does not in anyway intend to back down with regards to IMPACTING YOUTH in a NON-DISCRIMATORY WAY, although the group is gospel based.
Khrystus became president of The Verchilds High School (St. Kitts) Youths in Action at 13 years old and made one of the biggest impacts during his time at high school. At 15 years old, he was inducted as president of a church’s Children’s Training Union and served there for 6 years. During his tenure, from early as 15 years, the first year he took over, he planned summer camps that took the children and youth island hopping. At such a young age, he packed church halls for all his events, dramas that he wrote himself, Easter, Christmas, Harvest programmes. His sing-spirations, pageants etc drew large St. Kitts – Nevis crowds everytime.
In 2008, at 21, he founded his own youth organization Dare 2 Be Different International – www.d2bdifferent.com and was the first gospel organization in St. Kitts-Nevis to launch with a 21 year old preacher, preaching his own crusade in August 2008. Wallace, a tech-saavy, led the way by not only having a tent crusade, but carried it live on www.d2bdifferent.com for the world and also on TBN’s Radio Paradise in Nevis. He went further and installed telephone prayer lines underneath the tenth and his team took calls from all over the world, even from within Caribbean Prison cells.
This is Khrystus’ heart – using the technology, along with other creative, innovative events to make an impact.
Wallace is a Youth Icon in St. Kitts – Nevis, having started his first business – T-shirt Printing at age 13, while in high school using his mother’s hand iron. He has since grown the business to www.kvkenterprises.com and opened a small business in Florida-USA – The Supply Shop Inc – www.thesupplyshopinc.com which he uses on a small scale as an entry point for his t-shirt printing and souvenir product business.
Wallace’s businesses have been seriously impacted by the global economic downturn, but he is NOT GIVING UP, because that is his main theme that he uses as he gives motivational speeches at graduations, schools, business places etc and the main theme of many of his sermons. He intends to fight to the very end and come out a success, which would even be more of a testimony and example to youths.
In 2010, while Wallace was 24, The Government of St. Kitts-Nevis, noticing his energy, hired him on a consultancy-training basis to SINGLE-HANDEDLY use his innovation and Compudoctors Training School – www.thecompudoctors.com to provide Information Technology Training to over 150 young people in a government run – Youth Empowerment Programme. Wallace was commended by Prime Minister of St. Kitts-Nevis, Dr. Denzil Douglas for training the most youth in that program alone.
Wallace, an innovator and youth advocate, went the extra mile and not only provided Information Technology Training, but added a Business Component to his programme that taught ALL participants key business skills. He helped many write their business plans and get Small Business Funding at local banking institutions.
As early as 2008, The Caribbean’s Top Financial Regulating Body has been using Khrystus Wallace as motivational speaker for some of its Business Empowerment Workshops and also as service provider. See: http://www.eccb-centralbank.org/News/press2.asp?pressID=283
Khrystus is a well sought after energetic motivational speaker, preacher and mentor and he isn’t afraid to speak out on issues that affect youth.

The write up above can only account for 1% - 2% of the youth impact activities that Wallace has been doing since he was 13 years old and that his ministry has been doing for the past 4 years. A good 90% of everything is recording on picture or video footage.
This is the first time after 13 years in ministry, which includes 4 years running his own ministry, that President Wallace is approaching any organization for grant assistance because Dare 2 Be Different International has been doing it all alone and craves your support.
